The Theology of the Body for Teens program is divided into 12 unique segments that reflect the pedagogical approach of John Paul II’s revolutionary teaching. The program has been designed specifically as a catechetical program to fit perfectly into Catholic schools, youth ministry, CCD, and homeschooling settings. Theology of the Body for Teens has been granted the Imprimatur by Justin Cardinal Rigali, Archbishop of Philadelphia.
Each lesson can take anywhere between 60-120 minutes to complete, depending on the format of the group. Each segment includes “core” lessons, as well as optional sections to help the leader better meet the needs of their teens.
The DVD series contains 20-25 minutes of teaching per lesson (including four special guys and girls only segments), presented by the authors of the program, Jason & Crystalina Evert and Brian Butler. Also included is a 40-minute video presentation for the parents of the students who will be participating in the program (a parental component is suggested by the USCCB for morality curricula).
